Evaluation

I like my final design, I think it looks simple but neat and professional. I think the light pink background sets a nice relaxed tone and would appeal to a female audience. I think my logo looks quite professional. The overall layout looks neat and people would find it easy to navigate around my page so anybody can use my website.

I like the way my collection of photos are displayed. The composition of the photos looks neat as they are all equally the right size on the thumbnails and are neatly placed. I also like the way the photos are displayed when they can be enlarged.

I have slightly changed the original navigation plans to my website by changing the way people can view my gallery's of photos, this is to only make it easier for people to navigate around my website. Also when I was at the design stage I designed both a main title and a logo and realised when i got to designing the main page I only need one. Has in my final website design i only use a logo, but my logo already as the title within it.

If I was going to change the way my website looks I would test out different types of colours ,different logos and main titles in the final design to see if it would look any better. However I do like my final design of my website as it fits the type and purpose of the website.

When You click on Galleries underneath appears a drop down menu with all the Galleries such as 'pink, purple, blue'. People can then click on that Link for that Gallery and the pictures will appear below in the Gallery thumbnails. To enlarge the Photos click on the individual photo thumbnail.

Here is an example:
when you click on Blue the gallaries of the Blue flowers will appear in the gallary.

Here is an enlarged photo. When you click on the little photo icons the photo will enlarge like this into a new window using the program Lightbox 2.

Another example is when you click on the Link Bath all the flower photos took in Bath will appear in the Gallary. As shown:

Two final website designs - Digital

I like the colours they go well with the purpose of the website and female's would like these colours and the layout is clear. However I think everything looks too separate as everything is in blocks.





I like this design, everything blends in well and it looks professional. I like the gallery with the black background and so the photos stand out. I like the links they are clear in the boxes and they have a nice font which is 'Verdana'. I think this design is perfect for my type and purpose.
For my final full website design I am going to use this design. I am now going to create each page of the website.
